Saturday, October 15, 2016 10am-4pm
Tualatin Lake of the Commons
8325 SW Nyberg St, Tualatin Oregon
“Just when you think you’ve seen everything, you realize you’ve been missing the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta since 2004. Exactly what it sounds like, this annual October series of races consists of paddlers piloting a gaggle of ginormous gourds through a water course on the lake at Tualatin Commons.” – Travel Portland
Yes, the one and only Annual West Coast Pumpkin Regatta is set to take place again on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
You’d be hard pressed to find another event that provides more joy for the whole family! There is just something about people dressing up in costumes and getting inside pumpkins that’s appeals to everyone. Maybe that’s why this annual Tualatin event has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Travel Channel, Better Homes and Gardens, HGTV, and Food Network Magazine.
Not only can you enjoy the sights of the great pumpkin race, but you will also enjoy fun activities like Live Music, Pumpkin Carving, Pie eating contests, Food and Drinks, Kids Crafts and More! The event will also feature the 5k Regatta Run/Walk, open to all who would like to join and support the Corporal Matthew Lembke Memorial Scholarship Fund.
So mark your calendars, book your hotel rooms (we are a short distance from this event)! This is a fun for all family event you won’t want to miss! To find more fun and adventure, download The City of Tualatin’s Activity Guide. Visit tualatinoregon.gov for more info.
