Oregon Celebrates the Arts October 1-8, 2012
Oregon Days of Culture, a celebration of the arts, heritage, and humanities in Oregon, begins this week.
The event showcases everyday culture in every Oregon community across the state with author readings, exhibitions, performances and screenings and more. Many of the Days of Culture events are are free; most are family friendly; all represent the lively cultural expression that happens every day in our communities.
Oregon Days of Culture is October 1-8. 2012 and presented by the Oregon Cultural Trust, a statewide funding agency who serves communities throughout Oregon in the form of grants.
Here are some of the local arts events happening that week:
