Now celebrating its 60th anniversary, the historic Lakewood Center for the Arts of Lake Oswego is a fixture of the Portland Oregon arts scene. The ongoing 2012-2013 main stage lineup offers a diverse arrangement of hit plays and classic musicals. There is still time to book seats for Irving Berlin’s iconic White Christmas. In January, the Company begins its run of Grand Hotel (no relation!), the 1989 Broadway musical about the intersecting stories of eccentric characters at an elegant 1928 Berlin hotel. Next, the Company presents Neil Simon’s Rumors, a farcical comedy of manners, followed the whimsical 1983 Tony Award winning play, La Cage Aux Folles. We are privileged to have this Portland Oregon cultural institution so nearby.
