Not long ago, WCVA launched a series of helpful interactive videos intended to give you a visual experience of the many destinations and attractions here in Washington County Oregon. This is a great resource to you plan your trip so we invite you to relax, escape or explore Oregon’s Washington County through this amazing series.

They came out with another amazing video that highlights the beauty and diverse range of activities for travelers in our area. Appropriately titled “Come Play Our Way”; the video demonstrates that Washington County (that includes Tigard), Oregon is easy to get to and a great place to unwind with golf, wine, tax-free shopping and more. Last month, Terry Goldman became the new President and CEO of The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA). With over 16 years in tourism and hospitality industry, he is the ideal person to do the job! Most recently, Terry has taken on another exciting role as “The Washington County Wanderer”!

Our friends at the Washington County Visitors Association recently launched an innovative Web video campaign to promote tourism in Washington County, Oregon. The Create Your Own Adventure series is featured on You Tube and allows visitors to get the most out of their stay. Each video offers nine adventures, with a total of 27 possible vacation itineraries inviting visitors to Relax, Escape and Explore all that Washington County has to offer. During the past few weeks, there has been a distinctly joyful and spirited feeling among the hotel staff and our guests. This will be our very first Christmas in our new hotel- and everyone seems to be getting into the holiday mood with parties and other holiday events. Holiday shoppers of all ages have enjoyed taking a break and climbing aboard The Bridgeport Express. The solar operated, trackless holiday train is free, fun and travels around the village. Frequent stops include: Sur La Table, Coach, Urban Outfitters, Borders Book & Music and in between Coldwater Creek & Talbots.
