The one and only Annual West Coast Pumpkin Regatta will take place once again on the Tualatin Lake of the Commons Saturday, October 21, 2017. If you have never seen this spectacle for yourself, you need to!
You’d be hard-pressed to find another event that provides more joy for the whole family! There is just something about people dressing up in costumes and getting inside pumpkins that appeals to everyone. Maybe that’s why this annual Tualatin event has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Travel Channel, Better Homes and Gardens, HGTV, and Food Network Magazine
“If you’ve never been to the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta odds are you’ve never seen anyone sit inside a giant pumpkin let alone race one across a lake dressed as a superhero or the tooth fairy.”-www.tualatinoregon.gov
“Just when you think you’ve seen everything, you realize you’ve been missing the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta since 2004. Exactly what it sounds like, this annual October series of races consists of paddlers piloting a gaggle of ginormous gourds through a watercourse on the lake at Tualatin Commons.” – Travel Portland
Need we say more? So mark your calendars, book your hotel rooms (we are a short distance from this event)! This is a fun for all family event you won’t want to miss!
